Our last State of the Pants update—about two months ago—was filled with exciting news as we shared that pants were shipping! For this State of the Pants, we have a LOT to catch up on, including more exciting news, though some information on delays, too. Let's dive in and start catching up.
Kickstarter Updates
First, the good news: ALL Sky Black and Slate Grey Kickstarter orders have been fulfilled! It's been incredible reading everyone's feedback as their pants arrive and hearing about the adventures these pants are going on. Please keep sharing with us.
Now, the less fun news: Orders for the Sage Green pants are now delayed until at least late spring and possibly early summer as we continue to face supply chain issues. We know how disappointing this situation is, and we are so appreciative of everyone's patience and understanding thus far. We want to be as transparent as possible throughout this process and into the future, and the supply chain backups going on right now are no joke. We will continue to share as progress is made and a more definitive shipping date is in sight.
Pre-sale Orders
We are continuing to fulfill orders as quickly as we can. The same supply chain issues with the Sage Green pants are also present here, and Kickstarter orders will be filled first, but we hope to have them shipping by late spring or early summer. Sky Black and Slate Grey orders are being fulfilled and shipped as soon as they arrive at our warehouse whenever new inventory arrives, and we expect to have a re-stock of Sky Black and Slate Grey even before Sage Green pants arrive. Stay tuned!
Looking Forward
While we're working closely with our factory and warehouse to fulfill current orders, we're also working hard on future products! We are currently working on our Fall/Winter 2022 lineup of new products, and have started working on our Spring / Summer 2023 assortment as well. We're going places, folks.
We've also had over 120 people apply to join the Trail Team! We are so blown away by everyone, it's going to be hard to choose our initial Trail Team members. If you missed the announcement or still way to apply, you can learn more, here. Stay tuned for more on that program, soon.
Finally, Alpine Parrot is moving! We've recently been based out of Denver, Colorado, but are moving our home base back to California in mid- to late March. We may be slow to respond during the week of 3/14/22, and may be totally unavailable during the week of 3/21/22 - but we’ll post on social media as we get closer with more specifics on how that might affect our customers.
