As Get 'Em Now Ponderosa Pants from our Kickstarter make their way into folk's homes and closets, it's been so exciting to hear feedback and stories from those who have received them. One such person is Kara, an Alpine Parrot-wearer who lives in Denver, Colorado.

Kara is a member of the plus-size community who we admire. She's not only a co-founder of WNDR Outdoors—an awesome group that is not only planning to make plus-sized outdoor gear but adventures, too—but was part of the Curvy Kili Crew—a group of 20 people who climbed Kilimanjaro in March 2019 and are now being featured in the film Kili Big. Now, she's shared some feedback and images of her most recent adventures in pants with us!

Since receiving her pants, Kara has adventured outside hiking and backpacking - exactly the kind of activities we had in mind when designing them. We've loved following along online and in conversation. We asked her for her initial thoughts and she shared that:

"I liked that there were lots of pockets and they felt good to walk in. I could bend down and they stretched with me instead of against me."

While she's looking forward to embarking on many more hikes and adventures in the pants, she shared another great piece of initial feedback - check the size chart. Her Alpine Parrot size is different than that of other pants she wears. By using the size chart she was able to ensure her best fit.

Size charts across the industry vary, which is why we hope to empower you to learn what your measurements are and find your pair, no matter the number. Want to learn how to take your measurements? Check out this blog post. Not sure if you're comfortable learning your measurements? That's okay, too. Read the blog and learn how we can help you find your best size!

We can't wait to see where Kara takes the Ponderosa Pants next, and look forward to watching her work at WNDR Outdoors continue, too. Check out more awesome images of her adventures, below.
